If you patronize Investor Joe’s, you should understand a new recall that’s affecting one of the grocery store chain’s preferred salads. According to a recall notice from the U.S. Food & Medication Administration (FDA) published on April 29, Investor Joe’s is voluntarily recalling a limited amount of its Sesame Miso Salad with Salmon as a result of an undeclared allergen.
Per the FDA, the salads are being recalled since the topping package may possibly consist of an undeclared milk irritant. To put it simply, the item may include milk that is not listed on the components label. The 500 remembered salads were mistakenly packaged with a sealed package of Parmesan cheese collapses, as opposed to a package of crispy onions. The salads were produced by Taylor Fresh Foods Illinois, and have the “Use By” date of April 28, 2025, or April 29, 2025. The UPC of the recalled salads is 00773164.
Additionally, the FDA noted that the now-recalled salads were distributed to Trader Joe’s stores in 18 states. The states influenced by this recall are Alabama, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Jacket, New York City, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.
People with a level of sensitivity or allergy to milk may be at danger of a negative reaction if they take in these salads, but the FDA explains that there have been no reported damaging reactions to this item to day.
